Discover Global Energy Services (Day 1) - Introduction

Are you familiar with Global Energy Services (GES)? Based at our Port of Nigg facility, GES is a one-of-a-kind service company that delivers multi-disciplined and fully accredited teams to support, repair, and enhance client-owned assets.

With clients ranging across the oil and gas, renewable energy, construction, and infrastructure sectors, GES offers services such as: rope access, alternative access solutions, scaffolding, fabrication, industrial and marine protective coatings, engineering solutions, and project management.

As part of their core values – one of which is being resolute on safety and quality - GES takes an uncompromising approach to protecting people and the environment, while implementing stringent quality standards across the business. This is reflected via their DNV management system, which is accredited to ISO 9001;2015, ISO 14001 (2015) and ISO 4500 (2018). Other memberships that demonstrate the commitment to quality and safety include ICATS, IRATA, CHAS and DROPS.

Graham Holloway, General Manager at Global Energy Services, said: “With years of experience in supporting clients at Group facilities, client sites, and in remote locations across the world, we have built a reputation for the safe and timely delivery of projects. All of which are delivered to industry best practice, and within the control of our certified and well-established business and safety management systems.”

We look forward to sharing more information about GES during the rest of the week. Keep your eyes peeled for a major safety record announcement from Head of HSEQ, Iain Macleod, and an employee Q&A with Rope Access Manager, Donnie Mackay.
