Vacancies
GEG (Capital) Ltd are looking for an experienced Payroll Administrator to support our Groups payroll function in our Inverness office. You will report directly to the Payroll Manager and will gain exposure to a portfolio of various sized businesses.
You will undertake a variety of tasks such as entering payroll information, calculating wages and making payments.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities of the Payroll Administrator shall include, but are not limited to, those contained in the following statements:
- End to End payroll processing for weekly and monthly payroll
- Payroll review
- Maintaining and actioning payroll changes
- BACS payments
- Assist with resolution of payroll queries
- Maintain employee records and update changes in payroll system
- Pension auto enrolment administration support
- Issuing P60 and P45s
- Liaising with HMRC & 3rd parties and processing payments where required.
- Work with payroll team to ensure accuracy of data

- Previous payroll experience is essential

Qualification and Experience

Overview of the role:
Graduate Architects will typically work as part of a team, under the control of a Partner and will be expected to assist the team in the design and production of schemes within the office.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Architectural
• Drawing and sketching design solutions by hand
• Developing schemes using 2D and 3D computer CAD packages such as Autocad

Major Function
The Software Developer will support the Business Units efficiency through the development and design of specialised software.

Job function:
The Group Tax Manager will manage the tax risk, compliance and reporting for the Group and its subsidiaries, for all taxes. The role will need to maintain and enhance relationships with key stakeholders and become a trusted advisor to them and the Board. Development of the tax team and wider finance function where appropriate. Also look to support the Payroll and People & Culture teams with tax technical advice on employment taxes.
Main responsibilities:
- Lead the tax reporting and tax audit process for the Group, delivering accurate tax balances, tax notes and disclosures for financial statements.
- Manage relationships with key stakeholders across the Group in relation to tax matters, including but not limited to Managing Directors, Board Members, Group CFO, Group Financial Controller, tax advisors, HMRC and Senior Accounting Officer.
- Ensure all compliance deadlines are met and compliance requirements are kept continuously up to date, including but not limited to, corporation tax returns, VAT returns, P11D and PSA reporting, CIS, CCO Act requirements and tax strategy.
- Lead the relationship with HMRC, managing the annual business risk review process and all communications between the Group and HMRC.
- Manage any overseas tax reporting and filings, as well as assisting Group entities with entry into new territories.
- Drive continuous improvement in the tax processes, including education of the broader finance team and business where necessary.
- Regularly monitor and assess material tax risk and communicate as appropriate to the relevant key stakeholders.
- Assist with due diligence and M+A activity where necessary.

Job Purpose & Objective
The Technical Manager’s role will be to lead the business into and through future works; work with and develop new technologies; manage strategic and operational performance to warrant successful delivery of business strategy and objectives, whilst ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance is being maintained in accordance with both internal/external customer specified requirements.

In conjunction with Global Energy (Group) Ltd Senior Management, the Technical Manager shall be responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of the Global Energy (Group) Ltd Business Management System, they shall be responsible for the day-to-day management and continuous development of the Quality Assurance Dept and those who work within it whilst providing Quality Management guidance and support to all other areas of the business.
The Technical Manager shall ensure systems and processes are defined and effectively implemented to warrant that quality of product and/or service provision is being consistently delivered to meet both internal and external stakeholder expectations.
- Certification/Accreditation Management
The Technical Manager will be responsible for the maintenance of the company held management system welding related certifications and accreditations, ISO 9001, ISO 3834 & BS EN 1090
- Welding Materials Engineering Management
Responsible for the Development, Control and Continuous Improvement of Production Welding Processes & Welding Related Activities and provide Quality and Welding/Materials Engineering guidance to all areas of the business from Tender initiation through Manufacturing and Production Operations to final Certification and Product/Service delivery.
