Global Energy Group’s significant track record has seen the Port of Nigg manage offshore wind projects totalling 2.6GW, including the Beatrice, Moray East and Seagreen Offshore Wind Farms.

The Port of Nigg combines some of the largest fabrication and assembly shops in Europe, extensive laydown & storage areas, and one of Europe’s largest dry docks. Coupled with this is over 1,200 metres of unrestricted, deep-water, heavy-lift quayside with direct access to the North Sea.

The awarding of Green Freeport status to the Port of Nigg has created a truly unique value proposition for the renewable energy market.
