Volunteers serve up a treat

High on the agenda of the Global Energy Group’s objectives is to increase our focus on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) and Wellbeing.

Some of our employees took some time out to help volunteer at Inverness Food Stuff, a charity that helps the homeless and people who are suffering poverty or isolation. The feedback from our team was incredible;

“It felt really good to be able to give something back and meet different people. I’ve decided to return in my own time to continue to help the charity.”

Creating opportunities for everyone in our organisation to volunteer not only helps to improve the lives of others, but also supports us in gaining a greater sense of belonging to our communities.
