Safety pays in many ways

Ensuring that the highest achievable safety standard is a culturally adopted part of everyone's working day is a key focus of all at Global Energy Group. With work happening around the clock, the workforce on site at Nigg Energy Park aimed to deliver an LTI free project on the refurbishment project onboard the Well-Safe solutions WS Guardian Rig.

With the target aim of zero incidents the team comprising Global Energy Group, Well-safe Solutions and RigFit7Seas committed to donate £100.00 from each company for every incident free10,000 man hours worked. We are proud to announce an interim payment of £3,000 was made on 3rd December with the project reaching 100,000 LTI free man hours. This was then doubled by Global Energy Group to £6,000 giving £2,000 to each charity. This windfall will benefit three locally selected charities, “MFR Cash for Kids” “Highland Hospice” & Raigmore Hospital Special Baby Care Unit.
