Iain Sinclair Elected to the Scottish Renewables Board

We're thrilled to announce that Iain Sinclair, our Executive Director, has been elected to the Scottish Renewables Board! This tremendous achievement is a testament to Iain's expertise and leadership in the industry. Elected from a pool of 14 candidates from Scottish Renewables' 330 member companies, Iain will serve a three-year term alongside Kate Turner (Scottish Power Renewables) and Susie Lind (BlueFloat Energy).

With over 20 years of experience in renewable energy, including heavy engineering, manufacturing, and logistics, Iain has a proven track record of delivering innovative solutions to the UK's most demanding offshore wind and marine energy projects. As Scottish Renewables works to grow the renewable energy sector in Scotland, helping to manage a just transition to a net-zero energy economy, Iain's combination of industry knowledge and a passion for supply chain innovation makes him an invaluable asset to the Board.
