Global Energy Group appoints Tim Cornelius as Independent Non-Executive Director

Tim Cornelius has joined the board of Global Energy Group (“GEG”) as an independent non-executive director.

Tim is currently the CEO of SIMEC Atlantis Energy (“SAE”), a leading developer of sustainable and renewable energy projects and is Chairman of the MeyGen project, the world’s largest operating tidal energy project. Tim will bring a wealth of renewable energy knowledge and experience to the global Energy Group and will work with the Chairman, fellow directors and senior management to help position GEG to take advantage of the many opportunities presented by the current and rapid transition to a low carbon future that the global economy is currently undertaking.
