Transocean 712 Successful IRM Project Completion

Global Energy Group are delighted to have played a key role in the successful delivery of inspection, repair and maintenance services on behalf of our client Transocean, during a recent shipyard project for their 712 semi-submersible drilling rig whilst berthed at the Queen’s Dock, Invergordon.

As main contractor for this short, but busy, yardstay, GEG provided our client with a truly one stop service delivery covering a variety of work scopes. Services included Ship’s Agency, Marine Logistics, Harbour Towage, Provision of Mobile Cranes, Project Management, Pipefitters, Welders, Rope Access, Coatings & Diving Services through to Quayside Co-Ordination and provision of Serviced Project & Client Offices and Accommodation.

Global Energy are very proud of achieving our Target Zero initiative having expended over 35,000 man hours on this project with zero accidents or incidents, which is fundamental to the culture of our organisation. We would like to thank the management and crew of the 712 for working in partnership with GEG during the yardstay and commend the on-board proactive attitude to safety, which hugely contributed to this incident free project.

We look forward to working together again in the near future.
