Global E&C Secures Investment from SCF Partners
Global E&C, an engineering, procurement and construction service provider, has secured investment from SCF Partners.
As Global E&C’s previous parent company, our Chairman Roy MacGregor will continue to support as a member of the Board through the transition with SCF Partners.
A long-term strategic alliance will also be retained which will see Global Energy Group and Global E&C partner on opportunities across the energy sector.
Roy MacGregor commented: "Global E&C is a great business, the team have established themselves in a very competitive market and I am proud to have been part of their journey.

Global E&C Secures Investment from SCF Partners
Global E&C, an engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) service provider, has secured investment from SCF Partners.
Headquartered in Aberdeen, Scotland, Global E&C has a global headcount of more than 1,000 people, with more than 900 people supporting the UK’s offshore and onshore energy sectors.
The deal, which has been completed for an undisclosed sum, will significantly bolster the company’s ability to support the evolving energy markets and accelerate its deployment of digital solutions in the EPC space.
Commenting on the investment, CEO of Global E&C, Terry Allan said: ‘we have come a long way as a business, and this is an exciting milestone for us as we continue to develop and grow. SCF has a proven track record of working with management teams to build lasting companies and it was important for us to find the right partner who understood our culture, and market position. SCF is a great fit to support us in the next phase of our development and this investment will reinforce Global E&C’s position as the most digitally enabled EPC contractor in the market.’
SCF Partners helps entrepreneurs to build leading energy companies by providing capital and expertise. The firm, which is over 30 years old, is headquartered in Houston, and has offices in Calgary, Aberdeen, Singapore and Adelaide.

Global E&C’s previous parent company Global Energy Group, which is Chaired by Roy MacGregor, will retain their other Aberdeen based energy businesses.
