Global Energy Group welcome Aberdeen based Aiken Group to their portfolio

Global Energy (Group) Ltd are delighted to announce that they have bolstered their capability with the purchase of Aiken Group in a pre-pack deal following the firm being placed into administration. The purchase ensures that the Business can continue to operate, and the long-established Client Base can be fully supported going forward.

Aiken Group, who are headquartered in Aberdeen, trade through nine divisions with a blue-chip global customer base. Established in 1987, Aiken are a well-known and highly-regarded business providing multi-disciplinary engineering and project management services, specialising in modules, accommodation and refrigeration. As a leading supplier of accommodation modules in every sector they provide specialist technicians to offshore oil and gas operators, supporting the maintenance and certification requirements of their permanently-installed living and catering areas. This added capability compliments the work that Global Energy Group’s ICON division currently offer to the offshore production market and provide clients with a broader range of solutions to their maintenance requirements.
