Dave Mackay Appointed as General Manager of Fabrication Division (Port of Nigg)

A warm welcome to Dave Mackay who has been appointed as the new General Manager for the group's Fabrication division at the Port of Nigg. With over four decades of experience in the oil and gas industry, Dave brings invaluable expertise to the team and is ideally suited to drive the success of the business going forward.

Dave has a wealth of expertise that has been enriched by working and living in various countries. Starting as a welder, Dave has gradually climbed the ladder and transitioned into management positions. In his most recent role as a Vice President, Dave focused on the North-East region of Europe for a full-service company specializing in Pipeline, Subsea Fabrication, and Offshore sectors.

Dave's experience has given him an in-depth understanding of the industry's complexities, and he knows what it takes to succeed. As the General Manager at Global Energy Group Fabrication, Dave will be responsible for managing and mitigating risks associated with contract delivery, providing advice and support to stakeholders and project teams, and ensuring that the company complies with policies and procedures.
