The Cherries Awards UK: Finalist for Two Categories
Here at Global Energy Group, our culture underpins everything we do. Established in 2019, our People & Culture team are at the heart of driving the strategy for how we invest in our people - they listen to the voices of our employees and focus on making a real difference. We are therefore delighted to announce that Global Energy Group has been shortlisted as a finalist for two categories at The CHeRries Awards 2022!
Exceptional Wellbeing in the Workplace
Our People & Culture team was created to drive fundamental change in GEG’s people focus and is now viewed as a key strategic partner to the business. Since its inception the team has risen to the challenge and in the past year has gone above and beyond to promote the wellbeing of our people in the workplace.
The team’s multi-faceted wellbeing initiatives were shaped by an extensive Pulse Survey which identified areas where more support was required. All initiatives are underpinned by our People Plan, which inspires a supportive and collaborative community and stimulates and encourages a healthy, resilient workforce.
Tremendous Learning & Development
People & Culture Director, Christine Cochrane, and her team find reward in watching people learn and develop, providing the support to help them achieve their potential. Her team believe they can be the difference that makes the difference, creating the conditions, frameworks and approaches to enable GEG people to exceed. Passionate about creating sustainable relationships with schools, colleges and universities, Christine’s team aspire to attract future talent and cultivate a welcoming, respectful and supportive environment.
Our people are driven by continuous improvement and work hard to meet the high standards our clients expect. In turn, the People & Culture teams support them, offering routes to progression and development — taking immense satisfaction from their achievements.
Good luck to all of our fellow finalists! See you on Thursday 24th March at P&J Live, Aberdeen.
