Manufactured Products

Pioneers of UK’s first offshore wind farm foundation manufacture. Our strategically located facilities include large scale fabrication and assembly capacity, coupled with the most experienced team of welders, fabricators, engineers and construction personnel in the UK.

What we do?

Global Energy Group provides a manufacture, assembly & factory acceptance testing (FAT) service to a range of product lines within offshore wind infrastructure, these include metrological masts (truss structures), foundations (jackets, monopolies & spars) c/w J-tubes/I-tubes, transition pieces, towers/nacelle & blade hub (assembly only), boat landing platforms c/w bumper bars and associated installation aids (spreader frames, transportation frames) and associated sea-fastenings (grillage's & tie-down clamps/gussets).

What differentiates us?

  • NIGG Energy Park, nominated by Offshore Wind Industry Council as being the UK’s Primary location for manufacturing & marshalling of offshore wind developments.  Its natural deep-water channel, berth availability, large lay down with high bearing capacity, UK’s largest fabrication & assembly shops and a wide range of heavy plant and supply chain skills makes this the stand-out differentiator for Global Energy Group
  • Full in-house manufacturing, assembly and outfitting capability to execute critical path activities, includes structural & piping pre-fabrication, machining, coatings, electrical & instrumentation, flushing & testing, bolt tensioning and associated specialist access trades and heavy plant
  • Non-unionised site with local workforce, flexible to meet the demands of accelerated turn-around projects
  • Provision of front-end manufacturing/constructibility support when not delivering an EPC solution

How we evolved?

Global Energy (Group) Ltd established its subsea equipment manufacturing capability through a combination of acquisitions (Isleburn, O.I.L. Engineering and the assets of IFAB), facility investments (principally Invergordon & Nigg Energy Park) and skilled resource training and development programmes spanning trades through technical and leadership.
